On Friday, April 4th, 2025, the entire Integrous team had the distinct pleasure of putting their talents and servant hearts into action by dividing the team to make a positive impact on the properties of the North Star Initiative – Lancaster and Berks County restoration homes for domestic trafficking survivors.
“There’s no question that this was a providential collaboration,” says Integrous General Manager, John Connell. “We had set out as a leadership team to find a charitable opportunity to engage and bless someone in our community. After our first discussion with North Star’s Community Coordinator, Stephanie Long, it was clear that this was exactly who we needed to partner with.”

North Star had recently acquired a property and existing restoration home in Berks County that was in desperate need of a privacy fence, due to their inner-city location. A beautiful vinyl fence now outlines the property, giving the residents freedom to enjoy a backyard in peace and tranquility. The Lancaster County property was in need of restorative work on a porch and fence where the residents enjoy beautiful days taking in the new found freedom of this incredible community. New composite decking and the unique charm of a wrap-around porch gave the Integrous craftsman the opportunity to put skills and design to the test. Capped off with a beautiful wood split rail fence and gate, the Lancaster County property now boasts a beautiful facade and place of rest and relaxation to be enjoyed for years to come.
Integrous lived out their commitment to make our community better through their work.
“The women who come to our program to heal and reclaim the lives they were created to enjoy – deserve a safe, beautiful space in which to do the hard work of healing.”, said North Star’s CEO, Melinda Clark. “Integrous helped us to provide that sense of safety by adding fences that not only provide security and privacy for our survivors but also made our properties more beautiful. I cannot speak highly enough of the impact they had on all of us as Integrous lived out their commitment to make our community better through their work.”
