Seamless Back Porch Extension – Lancaster, PA

With this extension project, it’s hard to tell where the house stops and the covered porch begins. Carefully matching materials, colors, and pitches creates a seamless transition from the existing rear house roof to the new 16′ x 10′ shed-style roof extension.

Underneath, the wood plank flat ceiling works with the industrial fan and rustic barn beam mantel to infuse a timeless effect into this new build. The natural gas fireplace includes a gas line hookup to fuel the heat source and an electrical receptable for the option of adding a TV, making it a multi-season and multi-purpose space.

Also adding personality to this quaint space are the lattice skirting, post skirts, and a T-top vinyl rail.
