For a client who had endured a barricaded door for years in anticipation of a “someday” deck with a view, this living space was truly the realization of a dream!  Since the deck is positioned atop a steeply declining yard (ideal for the taking in the view), the strategically-placed angled stairway minimizes the number of steps required to enter it from the lawn while maximizing the square footage to accommodate grilling, relaxing, and all of the favorite aspects of an outdoor retreat.
