What Integrous Is Up To While You Wait for Install Day

Your dream fence or deck is becoming a reality. You’ve collaborated with Integrous Fences and Decks to design the perfect addition to your outdoor living space. You’ve signed the contract and paid the deposit. And now you’re eagerly awaiting the first day of installation.

In the meantime, our team is hard at work preparing for your project. While you wait for install to begin, learn what Integrous is doing behind the scenes to get your outdoor living project ready.

Gathering Materials

A key step to ensure your project moves forward in a timely manner is gathering all the materials. For wood projects, that means our craftsmen hand select and build your custom fence, gate, arbor, or railings. For other materials like composite decking, metal fencing, and vinyl railing, we submit orders to our trusted vendors to make sure the products arrive on time.

Permitting

Integrous handles the permitting process for all our deck projects by creating site and construction plans for review and approval from your township. We can also apply for fence permits when a customer requests assistance and opts in for an additional fee, which you would have discussed with your Sales Representative. Our office staff will communicate when your permit has been approved, which allows the project start date to become more defined.

Scheduling

Once the township approves your project, our scheduling manager can start looking for the best opening in our crews’ schedule to install your project. Our crews rarely start and stop projects–once they break ground on your property, they strive to return on consecutive business days until the project is complete to limit disruptions and construction in your yard. Therefore, our scheduler is thoughtful about the best dates to place your project and will coordinate with you to confirm.

Utility Mapping

A few days ahead of the planned start date, we’ll place an 811 call to notify the owners of any underground public utilities on your property. Within 3 days of an 811 call, each owner will come to your property and mark their utility location with either paint or flags. If you have any private utilities, like power to pool equipment, irrigation lines, or invisible fences, please communicate their location to our team.

Packing the Truck

With 15 years of experience, Integrous knows what tools and systems make installation as smooth and precise as possible. Our yard staff expertly load a truck with all the necessary equipment and materials so that it’s ready to go the morning of your fence or deck install.

Install Day

When our crews arrive at your property, the foreman will need to meet with you for about 15-20 minutes to lay out the job and reconfirm details you discussed previously with your Sales Representative. After that meeting, you’re free to leave and you can trust that our crews will treat your property with the same respect and care as if it was their own.

And before you know it, your dream fence or deck will be a reality.
